Blickfang. Diese Tasche strahlt einfach so schön in einem zarten, sonnigen gelbton und ist daher definitiv ein Blickfang. Ausserdem hellt sie Outfits locker auf in diesem grauen Februar. Liebe Leser, sorry, dass ich gerade etwas abwesend bin und nicht so regelmäßig poste und auf eure Kommentare eingehe aber ich verspreche Besserung - und zwar schnell!!! New Hair

Change. Finally I made some changes with my hair. I went to the hairdresser to get some fresh layers and a little side fringe. But I wasn't that happy with the new hair as still something was missing. So I spontaneously went to the next drugstore and checked hair colors. I haven't colored my hair for 3 years! I decided to buy Casting Crème Gloss by L`Oreal and the name of the color is Sweet Honey. It is a conditioning color which lasts up to 28 hair washes but based on m prior experience those colors won't go away completely. However, I really like my new hair color. Have a great weekend! x

Veränderung. Endlich habe ich es gewaagt und meine Frisur 'etwas' verändert. Nichts drastisches. Beim Friseur wurden die Stufen aufgefrischt und ein seitlicher Pony hinzugefügt. So ganz zufrieden war ich aber dennoch nicht denn etwas fehlte. Also bin ich gestern spontan in die nächstbeste Drogerie und habe mir eine Haartönung gekauft. Ich hatte meine Haare 3 ganze Jahre lang nicht getönt geschweige denn gefärbt! Ich habe mich dann für die Casting Crème Gloss Reihe von L´Oreal entschieden und der Farbton heißt Sweet Honey. Es ist eine Intensivtönung, die das Haar nur leicht aufhellt und bis zu 28 Haarwäschen anhält. Na ja, meiner Erfahrung von früher nach gehen solche Töungen eh nie ganz raus. Egal, ich bin für den Moment jedenfalls sehr glücklich mit meiner neuen Haarfarbe. Habt ein schönes Wochenende! x

Schööön! Dies ist echt ein sehr schönes Ankleidezimmer, welches ich als Ausstellungsraum in einem Einrichtungshaus in Chelsea sah. Schnell fotografiert und unter Inspiration archiviert. Nicht dass ich jetzt den Platz oder das nötige Kleingeld hätte um so einen Raum nachzubauen aber man soll ja niemals nie sagen ;)

Letzter Post im Januar. Könnt ihr es glauben? Der erste Monat in 2012 neigt sich bereits dem Ende zu. Wie die Zeit verfliegt. Egal, mir ist jedenfalls aufgefallen, dass ich ganz vergessen habe diese Bilder zu posten, was sich aber in dieser Sekunde erledigt hat :) Die Bilder entstanden in der Bricklane im Osten Londons als mich eine sehr gute Freundin für ein paar Tage besuchen kam. Eine echt eine ausgefallene, kreative Ecke Londons, die man sich mal anschauen sollte. Wie ihr vielleicht merkt, tragen wir die selbe Mütze. Ha, Mädchen halt ;) Na dann ich seh Euch wieder im Februar!

Frenemy. It's January, that means four letters are screaming at us from the shop displays: S A L E. So I happily took my gift vouchers which I got for Christmas and went shopping. But there is one question about sale; is sale our friend or enemy? On the one hand, we can buy clothes much cheaper compared to the original price - yesss we save money - actually a lot! On the other hand, the clothes in sale represent trends or clothes that no one really wanted to have and they were not worth it to buy them. Face it, they are second choice, bad quality or just available in specific sizes. Years ago, I went crazy about sale because I could save a fortune but most of the clothes were just hanging in my wardrobe without wearing them as they were 'last season'. Nowadays, I really try to buy basic stuff in sale to make sure I can wear the clothes in the next season as well. I compromise on sale that is why I would say sale is my frenemy ;) What do you think about sale? x

Freind. Es ist mal wieder Januar und das bedeutet, dass uns wieder vier verführerische Buchstaben aus den Schaufensterläden anschreihen S A L E. Also nahm ich meine Einkaufsgutscheine in die Hand, die ich zu Weihnachten geschenkt bekam und machte mich auf die Schnäppchen jagt. Doch immer wieder stellt sich mir die gleiche Frage: Ist Sale unser Freund oder Feind? Auf der einen Seiten können wir die Klamotten viel billiger im Vergleich zum ursprünglichen Originalpreis kaufen - juchuuu wir sparen Geld - und das meistens nicht wenig! Auf der anderen Seite, präsentieren die Sachen im Sale immer Trends, die keiner so richtig haben wollte oder die Sachen waren es nicht Wert sie zu kaufen. Sehen wir der Sache ins Gesicht: Die Klamotten sind zweite Wahl, von schlechter Qualität oder nurnoch in bestimmten Größen erhältlich. Früher war ich verrückt nach Sale da ich ein Vermögen sparen konnte, doch meistens hingen die Sachen danach ungetragen im Schrank da sie mittlerweile der letzten Saison entsprachen. Heutzutage gehe ich den Sale vorsichtiger an und kaufe nur Basics oder Sachen wo ich mir sicher bin, dass man sie auch noch in der nächsten Saison tragen kann. Ich mache sozusagen einen Kompromiss mit dem lieben Sale und würde ihn daher auch als Freind bezeichnen ;) Und ihr, was ist eure Meinung zum Sale? x

Zwei Sachen. Oh, es war mal wieder Liebe auf dem ersten Blick als ich den Flakon-Kettenanhänger des Chanel No. 5 Parfums sah. Süüüß. Doch trotz erhöhtem Verliebtheitsgrad wurde noch gehandelt, so bekam ich die Kette für 10.00 anstatt 12.00 £, juchu. Und die farbenfrohen Pixel-Pinguine sind meine neue Schutzhülle für meine U-Bahnfahrkarte (3.00 £). Wie gefallen Euch die Sachen? x

Camden Market, baby

Camden Town. One of my favorite markets to hang around and browse through funky stuff is Camden Market near tube station Camden Town (Northern Line). Love it, it is soooo much fun. As you can see I took a lot of pictures this time. The Camden lock markets and stalls are open 7 days a week mostly between 10am and 6 pm. Take your time, it is really worth it. I'll post my little findings next time. x

Camden Town. Einer meiner persönlichen Lieblings-Märkte in London zum Bummeln und Stöbern ausgefallener Sachen ist der Camden Market in der Nähe der U-Bahn Station Camden Town (Northern Line). Ich liebe die Atmosphäre einfach dort. Wie ihr anhand der Bilderflut erkennen könnt, habe ich diesmal auch ein paar mehr Bilder gemacht. Der Camden Lock Markt und "Ställe" öffnen jeden Tag zwischen 10:00 und 18:00 Uhr. Also plant euch genug Zeit ein, es lohnt sich meiner Meinung nach. Im nächsten Post gibt's dann meine kleine Errungenschaften. x

Winter Jacket

Armadillo. That's how I feel :) There is a new winter jacket in my closet. I was searching for a new one for a looooong time. What I like about this winter jacket is that it has a belt so my curves aren't totally lost in that puffy jacket. What I like even more was the price as I bought it in sale for 80,00 pounds.

Gürteltier. So oder so ähnlich fühle ich mich :) Es gibt eine neue Winterjacke in meinem Kleiderschrank. Ich habe schon läääääänger nach einer neuen gesucht. Was mir besonders gefiel war der Gürtel, so dass die weiblichen Kurven nicht ganz in der puffigen Jacke untergehen. Was mir noch mehr gefiel war der Preis denn ich habe die Jacke im Schlussverkauf für 80,00 Pfund gekauft.

Sparkling Tights. Actually, I saw these tights weeks ago on a mannequin at H&M but when I asked a sales person where to find them, she told me that they sometimes get tights or shoes just for showcasing. So I was pretty happy the other day when I walked into H&M again and finally saw these tights in a shelf :) I just love love love them. Have a sparkling weekend!!! x

Glitzer Strumpfhose. Eigentlich, habe ich diese Strumpfhose schon vor einigen Wochen an einer Schaufensterpuppe bei H&M entdeckt aber als ich die Verkäuferin fragte, wo ich diese denn finde, bekam ich als Antwort das manchmal Strumpfhosen und Schuhe nur als Ausstellungsstücke mitgeliefert werden. Na ja, umso höher sprang mein Herz dann letztens als ich mal wieder ein H&M betrat und doch tatsächlich diese Strumpfhose im Regal zum Verkauf hängen sah. Ich liebe sie einfach. Habt ein glitzerfrohes Wochenende!!! x

Hello December. My apologies for not blogging the past 10 days but as I told you couple of posts ago I was finishing my master's project for university which was quite stressful and exhausting. I slept for 3 days after I submitted my work... BUT NOW I AM BACK AND READY TO BLOG! So let me introduce my new black leather boots to you. I think black boots are never out of style and very practical for the winter season. I chose a wide fit so I can wear them over a jeans. Ok, now I'll catch up with your blogs. x

Hallo Dezember. Entschuldigt bitte, dass ich die letzten 10 Tage nichts gepostet habe aber wie ich euch ja in einem meiner vorherigen Posts mitteilte, musste ich meine Abschlussarbeit fertig schreiben, was ziemlich stressig und kraftraubend war gegen Ende. Nach der Abgabe habe ich erstmal 3 Tage geschlafen... ABER ICH BIN ZURÜCK UND BEREIT ZUM BLOGGEN! Also darf ich vorstellen, meine neue schwarzen Lederstiefel. Meiner Meinung nach sind schwarze Stiefel ein echter Klassiker und kommen irgendwie nie ausser Mode. Vorallem sind sie super praktisch in der Wintersaison. Diesmal habe ich mich für einen 'wide fit' entschieden, so kann ich die Stiefel auch mal über eine Jeans tragen. Ok, jetzt wird es aber Zeit eure Blogs zu durchforsten, will ja nichts verpassen. x

Da es bereits schon dunkel war, musste ich mich in der Nähe einer Straßenlaterne positionieren :) Die große Clutch bietet echt viel Platz, um meine Unipapiere, Portemonnaie, Schlüssel und Handy von A nach B zu transportieren. Yeah, bling bling butt or what?! The festive season is coming. Christmas parties, new years eve and my birthday. So I'll rather be prepared. Actually, I am not the biggest fan of gold but this skirt and bag was so damn sparkling that I couldn't help but buy it. And as those two things catch enough attention, I chose to add a black top and leggings to the whole outfit. The bow bag is also available in black or Barbie pink. x

Yeah, Pailletten-Popo oder was?! Die festliche Zeit beginnt nun bald wieder. Weihnachts-Parties, Silvester und mein Geburtstag. Also sollte ich mich modetechnisch wohl besser vorbereiten. Eigentlich muss ich ja gestehen, dass ich nicht der größte Fan von Gold bin aber diese beiden Teile haben mich so verdammt angestrahlt, dass ich sie einfach mit nach Hause nehmen musste. Und da die zwei schon genug Aufmerksamkeit auf sich ziehen, habe ich das Outfit mit einem schwarzen Top und einer Leggings ergänzt. Die Schleifentasche gibt es alternativ auch in schwarz oder Barbie-pink. x

The Fashion Scene. As I told you, we went to a concert last night. Paul Kalkbrenner was playing at the venue Koko in Camden. About 2 years ago I tried to see him playing at a Berlin club but couldn't manage to get in as too many people went to the club. However, this time we bought the tickets 2 months ahead to be sure ;) The venue was amazing but too dark and crowded to take any useful outfit pics. That is why I put together my yesterday's outfit. It's all H&M except for the boots; they are from New Look. Happy Monday! x

Das modische Szenario. Wie gestern gepostet, waren wir abends auf einem Konzert. Paul Kalkbrenner legte im Koko in Camden auf. Bereits vor 2 Jahren, hatte ich versucht ihn live in einem Berliner Club zu sehen aber leider habe ich es nicht geschafft, da der Club sehr schnell wegen Überfüllung geschlossen wurde. Egal, diesmal haben wir die Tickets 2 Monate im Voraus gekauft, nur um sicher zu gehen ;) Die Location war echt der Hammer leider nur viel zu dunkel und voll, um nützliche Outfit-Bilder zu bekommen. Deshalb habe ich mein Outfit nachgelegt. Alles vom Schweden, ausser den Schuhen, die sind von New Look. Habt einen schönen Start in die Woche. x

Oberteil ohne Kragen. Kein Problem, denn diese schöne Halskette tut den Rest und ist ein perfekter Kragenersatz. Allerdings, sieht die Kette an V-Ausschnitt Oberteilen nur bedingt toll aus. Silver-Black-Metal. Bicolor tops, jackets, trousers, whatever. So the bicolor trend is taking over this season and when I saw this earrings at H&M, I found my way to step into the bicolor game. I like the way how the black color turns the earrings into a more edgy look. x

Silber-Schwarzes Metall. Zweifarbige Tops, Jacken, Hosen, was auch immer. Also der Bicolor-Trend zieht durch die Modewelt und als ich diese Ohrringe bei H&M sah, fand ich meinen Weg, das zweifarbige Spiel mitzuspielen. Besonders gefiel mir, dass die schwarze Farbe, die Ohrringe gleich viel markanter wirken lässt. x

Secret. Can you keep one? Do you remember when I posted some outfit pics that were taken in a shopping mall? Afterwards, my boyfriend and I checked out some stores. At Deichmann I saw this pair of boots and really liked them, I even tried them on. Oh, but my lovely boyfriend hated them. No discussion. So while leaving the store with empty hands I checked how many pairs they had in stock in my size. I saw 3. Good, I thought. So I came back the other day and bought them. On the way back home I called him to make a confession. He laughed because he knew I would buy them, the minute I turned back to check on the number of pairs.

Geheimnis. Könnt ihr eins für euch behalten? Errinnert ihr euch noch an meine Outfit-Bilder, die neulich in dem Einkaufszentrum entstanden sind? Jedenfalls waren mein Freund und ich danach noch etwas bummeln. Bei Deichmann habe ich dann dieses Paar Schuhe gesehen und fand sie auf Anhieb toll, hatte sie sogar gleich mal anprobriert. Oh, aber mein Liebster hasste sie, ohne Diskussion. Als ich also mit leeren Händen das Geschäft verließ, drehte ich mich noch mal schnell um und checkte wieviel Paar Schuhe in meiner Größe noch vorrätig waren. Ich habe 3 gesehen. Gut, dachte ich mir. Also bin an einem anderen Tag allein wieder hin und habe sie gekauft. Auf dem nach Hause Weg, habe ich dann meinen Freund angerufen, um den Kauf zu gestehen. Er lachte, denn er wusste ich würde die Schuhe trotzdem kaufen, indem Moment als ich mich umdrehte um die vorrätigen Schuhe zu zählen.

The story. Last spring my boyfriend cleaned his closet out and wanted to get rid of this beige pullover. That's how I stepped into the game. I kept the pullover :) Initially, I thought it's always good to have some nice knitwear for chilling at home and the next winter is coming for sure. So do you remember the black ballerina dress I posted lately? Today, I combined the dress with the sweater. In order to make the menswear pullover more girly, I also added a necklace. I am so glad I saved the pullover! x

Die Geschichte. Letztes Frühjahr mistete mein Freund seinen Kleiderschrank aus und wollte diesen beige farbenen Pullover loswerden. Da kam ich ins Spiel denn ich adoptierte den Pullover :) Anfangs dachte ich mir, es ist immer gut, einen schönen Strickpullover zum Gammeln zu haben und der nächste Winter kommt bestimmt. Also, erinnert ihr euch noch an das schwarze Ballerina-Kleid, das ich neulich gepostet hatte? Heute habe ich das Kleid mit dem Pulli kombiniert und um das Männerteil mädchenhaft zu machen, habe ich die Kette auch noch hinzugefügt. Ich bin so froh, dass ich den Pullover gerettet habe! x

Eyecatcher. Following the Autumn 2011 trends a while ago, candy colored fur stoles were quite popular on the catwalks. Anyhow, some days ago I was browsing through Primark ending up infront of the accessories shelf, asking myself: Is this fake fur stole tacky or cool? ... Versace for H&M. Surely, I am not the first blogger writing about Donnatella's collection for H&M. By contrast, I was reading a lot of mixed reviews on the collection. To my mind, Donnatella did a good job as typical Versace elements and colorful prints can be identified. The only question I have: Why do they launch the clothes in November? I cannot think of shorts skirts and colorful dresses when it is freezing cold outside, can you?

... Versace für H&M. Sicherlich, ich bin nicht die erste, die über Donnatella's Kollektion für den Schweden bloggt. Im Gegenteil, bislang habe ich sehr unterschiedliche Meinungen über die Kollektion gelesen. Für meinen Teil, hat Donnatella einen guten Job gemacht da typische Versace-Elemente und auch farbenfrohe Prints zum Vorschein kommen. Die einzige Frage, die mir in den Kopf kommt ist: Warum launchen sie die Kollektion im November? Ich kann mich nicht auf kurze Röcke und farbenfrohe Kleidchen konzentrieren wenn es draussen so richtig kalt ist, könnt ihr?

Favourites. After two more fashion companies, namely COS and Monki opened their shops in the world wide web, I took the chance to browse through the latest offerings and picked my favorite pieces. And while I was browsing I also checked Zara, H&M and Asos. Although I never order online - I am too much in love with going shopping and trying on things - it is a good opporunity to preselect items. x

Nachdem nun zwei weitere Modeunternehmen, nämlich COS sowie Monki ihre Shoppingpforten im World Wide Web geöffnet haben, nutzte ich die Gelegenheit mich virtuell durch die neusten Angebote zu klicken und habe meine Lieblinge rausgepickt. Und da ich schonmal dabei war, wurden auch noch gleich die Seiten von Zara, H&M und Asos durchforstet. Obwohl ich wirklich nie etwas online bestelle - dazu liebe ich es zu sehr Shoppen zu gehen und Sachen anzuprobieren - ist das Online-Surfen eine gute Gelegenheit eine Vorauswahl zu treffen und einen Überblick zu bekommen. x

Outfit. It's getting autumn. After the beautiful later summer, it is quickly getting autumn now. So the colours of my outfit adapt to the new season, too. Thanks to H&M the blue of my top is matching the blue of the trousers as both pieces are bought at the Swedish fashion house. I am really into blue at the moment. Outfit. Oha, es wird Herbst. Nach den letzten schönen Spätsommertagen wird es doch nun plötzlich ganz schnell kühler und der Herbst stellt sich ein. Deshalb passen sich auch die Farben meines Outfits so langsam der neuen Jahreszeit an. Dank H&M passt der blaue Farbton des Tops perfekt zu dem der Hose da beide Teile auch beim Schweden konsumiert wurden. Ich steh' ja gerade total auf blau. Und ihr? Self-Experiment. So now I am sitting here with these three hair care products by the hair salon brand Toni&Guy. How did this happen? Actually I went to the drugstore Boots here in London to buy a new shampoo and conditioner. Once I was in the hair care section I looked around as my hair is very dull and boring and the moment, so I was searching for additional hair care help besides the products I am using. Attracted by the sign: Buy any 3 Toni&Guy products for 10,00£, I couldn't help but chose three products. 1. Serum Drops, 2. Spritz&Shine Liquid Mousse and 3. Moisturising Shine Spray. Back in January (click) I went to one of the Toni&Guy salons in London and I was very happy with the result that is why I trusted the products and the price offer was irresistable, too. In total I saved 12,00 £. However, now it is time to test how these products from the glamour series take effect on my hair. I'll let you know in a couple of days.

Another thing I discovered back home was the website link www.hairmeetwardrobe.com on the products. As partner of London Fashion Week, Toni&Guy style the runway models by creating their hair styles. Paired with the product offering you can click through different looks. Below you see inspirational looks matching my products. I really like the idea of pairing fashion with hair style products. Good job!

Selbstversuch. Nun sitze ich hier mit diesen drei Haarpflegeprodukten der Salonmarke Toni&Guy. Aber wie ist das passiert? Eigentlich habe ich dem Drogeriemarkt Boots hier in London einen Besuch abgestattet da ich ein neues Shampoo und einen Conditioner brauchte. Und wenn man schon mal in der richtigen Abteilung ist, kann man ja auch gleich weiter stöbern. Da mein Haar momentan sehr spröde und langweilig ist, suchte ich also nach zusätzlichen Pflegeprodukten. Angezogen von dem Angebot: Kaufe 3 Toni&Guy Produkte für 10,00£, konnte ich nicht anders als flink drei Produkte einzupacken: 1. Serum Drops, 2. Spritz&Shine Liquid Mousse and 3. Moisturising Shine Spray. Bereits im Januar (klick) war ich in einem Toni&Guy Salon als Haarpatientin und war sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis deshalb fiel es mir leicht der Marke erstmal zu vertrauen. Na, und zu dem preislichen Ersparnis kann man auch nicht sofort 'Nein' sagen. Insgesamt habe ich dann 12,00£ gespart. Wie sich nun letztendlich die Produktserie 'Glamour' auf mein Haar auswirkt wird sich zeigen. Ich halte euch die Tage auf dem Laufendem.

Was ich aber zu Hause entdeckte war der Link zu der Webseite www.hairmeetwardrobe.com auf den Produkten. Also ab ins Netz und mal durchgeklickt. Als Partner der London Fashion Week, stylen die Leutchen von Toni&Guy die Models und kreieren ihre Looks - zumindestens was ihren Kopf angeht. Ballerina Dress. Well, forget my addiction to ballerina skirts as posted here or here. Please let me introduce to you my latest wardrobe darling aka little black dress: a black ballerina dress. How cute is that?! H&M provides this dress in four different colours namely beige, light brown, purple and as you can see above black. I went for the black one because I can style it in a sophisticated but also cute girly way.

Ballerina Kleid. Ok, ok, vergesst meine Abhängigkeit zu Ballerina Röcken wie bereits hier oder hier geposted. Darf ich vorstellen, dies ist mein neustes Kleiderschrank-Darling aka das kleine Schwarze. Wie süüüß ist das bitte?! H&M bietet dieses Kleid momentan in vier verschiedenen Variationen an, nämlich in den Farben beige, hell braun, lila und wie ihr oben seht eben in schwarz. Ich bevorzuge das Schwarze denn ich kann es sehr förmlich aber halt auch verspielt-süß kombinieren.

London! My dear readers, sorry for my absence of blogging but I caught the flu and felt sick all week long. And as that wouldn't have been enough I had to fly back to London on Thursday. Nicht gerade die beste Idee wenn die liebe Nase dicht ist und man sich generell scheiße fühlt. Nun ja, ich habe den zweistündigen Flug ja überlebt und bin nun nach meinem 3-wöchigen Aufenthalt zurück in der britischen Hauptstadt. Habt ein schönes Wochenende. x

Mickey Warhol. Ok, pop art is nothing new, in fact it is older than I am. Additionally, small bags that can transform into bigger ones - nothing new as well. And Mickey Mouse? Yeah, he is quite old, too. But by combining all things together, you get something exciting, at least I was excited when I saw this little bag at a store in Disneyland Paris three weeks ago. And so I have a new colourful accessories. x

Andy Mouse. Jaja, die Kunstrichtung Pop Art ist nicht neu, in Wahrheit ist sie älter als ich es bin. Kleine Beutelchen, die sich in größere verwandeln - gähn, das kennen wir auch schon. Und Micky Maus? Tja, der ist auch nicht mehr der Jüngste. Aber wenn man all diese Faktoren zusammenwürfelt, entsteht was cooles, neues, zumindestens war ich sehr angetan als ich den Beutel in einem Geschäft vor drei Wochen im Disneyland Paris entdeckte. Und so besitze ich nun ein sehr farbenfrohes, mickyfratzentragendes Accessoire.

French music, French food - mmmhh I love crepe - French wine and sparkling wine. In summary it was a lovely evening. Merci.

Französischer Abend. Gestern Abend lud Promod zum Kundenevent in der Berliner Filiale am Potsdamer Platz. Da die Wurzeln des Modeunternehmens französisch sind, wurde auch gleich 'Frankreich' als Eventthema aufgegriffen. Französischer Flair kam auf durch französische Musik, französisches Essen - unter anderem lecker Crepes - Wein und Sekt. Rundum ein schöner Abend. Merci.

Lesestoff. Ich weiß, da draussen in den Buchhandlungen wimmelt es nur so von Modebüchern und genau deshalb will ich euch heute auch eins mal ans Herz legen, nämlich Modedesign von Sue Jenkyn Jones. Wieso? Weil ich finde, dass dieses Buch sehr gut beschreibt worum es bei Modedesign eigentlich so prinzipiell geht. Es ist gut und einfach geschrieben und die Kapitel führen den Leser 'nahtlos' durch den Prozess des Designens. Von den historischen Ursprüngen der Mode, über das eigentliche Erschaffen eines Kleidungstückes bis hin zum Aufbau der eigenen Marke wird alles abgedeckt, wenn auch nicht immer bis ins letzte Detail. Ich sagte ja, es ist ein schönes Buch um sich einen Überblick zu verschaffen. Das Buch richtet sich in erster Linie an Modestudenten oder Leute, die noch vorhaben in der Modeindustrie Fuß zu fassen. Study Break! Once in a while it is necessary to clear your mind and just hang around with a good friend. And that's exactly what I did. I met Mary to catch up on everything that is not related to our studies. While she is studying for her upcoming exams, I am still struggling with my research project. Anyhow, we spent a lovely evening that ended with some outfit pics. In order to take some good fotos, Mary and me had to use any source of light we could find because we didn't want to use this stupid flashlight of my camera. Thus, the tube station sign and a latern at the river Spree were perfect to provide some light. Thank you Berlin. x

Lernpause! Manchmal muss man einfach mal den Kopf frei machen und sich mit einer guten Freundin treffen. Und genau das habe ich getan, um genauer zu sein habe ich mich mit Mary getroffen, um über alles nur nicht über studienbezogene Themen zu reden. Während sie wie ein fleißiges Bienchen für ihre anstehenden Klausuren lernt, kämpfe ich mich noch derzeitig durch mein Forschungsprojekt. Egal, wir hatten nen super Nachmittag, der durch Outfit-Bilder abgerundet und damit fotografisch dokumentiert wurde. Allerdings hatten wir etwas Probleme mit der optimalen Lichtquelle und wir wollten den blöden Blitz meiner Kamera nicht anwenden. Daher mussten das U-Bahn-Leuchtschild und eine Laterne am Spreeufer aushelfen. Danke Berlin. x

My Mobile Wardrobe

At the moment my closet consists of a mobile rack, here in Berlin. I am staying with my parents as I gave up my apartment a year ago when I decided to move to London. The clothes hanging on the rack are a wild mix of some older clothes I have stored in Berlin, stuff I brought with me from London and new pieces I bought in Paris two weeks ago. So from a fashion point of view it is quite chaotic.

Im Moment wird mein Kleiderschrank hier in Berlin durch eine mobile Kleiderstange repräsentiert. Zur Zeit hause ich bei meinen Eltern da ich vor einem Jahr meine Wohnung hier auflöste um in die britische Hauptstadt zu ziehen. Die Kleidungsstücke auf der Stange sind ein absolut wilder Mix an stofflichen Ansammlungen, hier treffen sich ältere Modelle, die in Berlin eingelagert wurden mit Sachen aus London und Neuzugängen aus Paris, die vor 2 Wochen frisch erstanden wurden. Also aus modischer Sicht, ein reines Chaos.

Back in Berlin, I spent a mother-daughter day with, of course, my mother. One of the things we did was shopping at the Potsdamer Platz Arcaden (shopping mall). This is also where my outfit pic was taken. Anyhow, I will show you later what's actually inside the shopping bag but I also found this cute little Bambi necklace at H&M, bought it and wore it the same day as it matched my outfit. Back home I took additional fotos with the new necklace. Have a sweet Saturdayyyy. x

Zurück in Berlin, habe ich einen Mutter-Tochter-Tag mit, natürlich, meiner Mutter verbracht. Unter anderem waren wir in den Potsdamer Platz Arcaden bummeln. Dort ist auch das Outfit-Foto entstanden. Was sich so in der Tüte verbirgt, zeige ich Euch ein anderes Mal aber ich habe auch diese süße Bambi-Kette bei H&M entdeckt, gekauft und sofort getragen da sie perfekt zu meinem Outfit passte. While I was in Paris, I couldn't help but visit the Longchamp store. As you might noticed I also bought something - more precisely: a bag, a beautiful blue bag. I went through my blog archive to put together some pics with my other two Longchamp bags I bought in Paris as well but already 2 years ago. Als ich in Paris war, musste ich einfach mal wieder in den Longchamp Store. Wie ihr es vielleicht an der Tüte erkannt habt, habe ich auch etwas gekauft - um genauer zu sein: ein Tasche, eine wunderschöne, blaue Handtasche. Zudem habe ich mal das Blog-Archiv durchstöbert und ein paar Bildchen zusammengepackt, wo meine anderen beiden Longchamp Taschen zum Vorschein kamen, diese habe ich allerdings bereits vor 2 Jahren gekauft, aber auch in Paris. Bonjour! I spent the last weekend in Paris. I just love the city, anyway, when sitting in the train to actually get to Paris, I realised that the seats are matching my shirt :) Above I posted a necklace a good friend gave to me as a gift couple of months ago. Bonjour! Das letzte Wochenende habe ich in Paris verbracht, ich liebe diese Stadt einfach nur. Auf der Zugfahrt nach Paris fiel mir auf, dass mein Shirt total zu dem Muster der Sitze passt :) Oben seht ihr eine Paris-Kette, die ich von einer sehr guten Freundin vor ein paar Monaten geschenkt bekommen habe. Ich weiß nicht warum, ich diese nicht schon vorher mal geposted habe aber besser spät als nie. While doing my make-up this morning, I realized that I never posted anything about make-up in my blog. So, I thought I could do a little post of the make-up products I am using literally everyday. Let's start...

Als ich heute morgen so vorm Spiegel stand und mich schminkte, fiel mir auf, dass ich noch nie etwas über Make-Up auf meinem Blog gepostet habe. Also, dachte ich mir, ich mach nen kleinen Post über die Produkte, die ich fast täglich benutze. Los geht's...

After washing, cleaning and ceaming my face, I always start with applying eye shadow. I use the white eye shadow by NYC as foundation and then I choose another, darker colour for my eyelids. As you may noticed my favorite colour of the MAC palette is already gone but I also like to use the brown or bronze colour.

Nachdem Waschen, Reinigen und Cremen meines Gesichts, fange ich meistens mit dem Lidschatten an. Dabei benutze ich den weißen Lidschatten von NYC als Grundierung und danach wähle ich eine weitere, dunklere Farbe für das Augenlid. Wie Euch vielleicht schon aufgefallen ist, ist meine Lieblings-Farbe in der MAC Pallette bereits leer aber ich verwende nun entweder den dunkelbraunen oder bronzefarbenen Ton.

Ganz wichtig für mich: schwarzer Eyeliner! Das betont so schön die Augen.

This mascara by L'Oreal Paris is my absolute favourite mascara. I am using it since almost 7 years now. Of course I tried different ones, but I always went back to my little darling. It makes my lashes just amazing and I choose waterproof mascara as it makes me feel more secure when it rains or when you sweat a little in summer time. I don't have to wonder if my mascara is all over my face then.

Dieser Mascara von L'Oreal Paris ist und bleibt mein absoluter Lieblings-Mascara. Ich benutze ihn jetzt schon seit fast 7 Jahren. Na klar, habe ich auch mal andere Mascara ausprobiert, bin dann aber doch immer wieder zu meinem Darling zurückgekehrt. Dieser Mascara macht einfach tolle Wimpern und ich wähle immer wasserfesten da ich mich damit sicherer fühle, denn wenn es beispielsweise regnet oder man etwas im Sommer schwitzt, muss ich mir keine Gedanken machen, ob mein Mascara verwischt ist.

Beide Produkte, der Cover Stick und das Soft Compact Powder von Manhattan Cosmetics sind quasi mein 'Photoshop' für das reale Leben. Mit dem Cover Stick kann ich Hautunebenheiten und auch Augenringe abdecken, um dann mit dem Puder alles schon einheitlich abzudecken.

In everday situations I am not a big fan of lipsticks but I still want my lips to be shiny. So, I am addicted to the small 'lipstick' by bebe which cares your lips by moisturizing them, plus it makes them a little bit shiny. Sometimes, I put then lipgloss on top. At the moment my favorite lipgloss is the one by Dior Kiss.

Im Alltag bin kein großer Fan von Lippenstiften, dennoch will ich, dass meine Lippen glänzen und gepflegt aussehen. Ich bin schon fast abhängig von dem bebe Perlglanz Pflegebalsam. Das gute an dem bebe Perlglanz Stift ist, dass er nicht nur die Lippen mit Feuchtigkeit versorgt sondern auch etwas glänzend macht. Manchmal setze ich dann noch einen oben drauf und benutze Lipgloss. Mein Favorit im Moment ist der Lipgloss von Dior Kiss.

And last but definitely not least, I rouge my cheeks a little bit in order to look fresh which is quite important especially in the morning.

Und zu guter letzt, trage ich etwas Rouge auf die Wangen auf, um frisch auszusehen, was besonders wichtig ist, in den frühen Morgenstunden.

Red'n'Roll

Hello my dear Saturday, you are my favorite day of the week! I can sleep long, chill in my crumpled red blouse and I know that tomorrow is off as well. Perfect! Ok, back to fashion business, guys. Lately I saw quite a lot of red blouses in stores, either really really red, more orange-red or dark red ones. You have the choice! I bought my blouse at H&M - Divided, I like the fact that this blouse is quite long and big, so it isn't the typically office-type blouse cut. This blouse is actually really cosy, and thus, ideal for a nice weekend. I just need to iron the blouse :( So have a great weekend and rock on! x

Oh, du geliebter Samstag, du bist und bleibst mein Lieblings-Tag der Woche! Ich kann ausschlafen, in meiner zerknitterten, roten Bluse chillen und ich weiß, dass morgen auch noch frei ist. Perfekt! Ok, zurück zum Thema, Leute. Neuerdings habe ich in echt vielen Läden rote Blusen gesehen, von knallig rot, über eher orange-rot bis hin zu bordeauxrot, alles dabei und ihr habt die Wahl! Meine Bluse ist von H&M - Divided, ich mag sehr, dass sie etwas länger und weiter ist und nicht diesen typischen Büro-Blusen-Schnitt hat. Diese Bluse ist echt gemütlich und daher ideal für ein chilliges Wochenende. Jetzt muss ich die Bluse nur noch bügeln :( Habt ein tolles Wochenende und lasst et rocken! x

Seriously studying or what?! These days I am hanging around at home, studying and trying to accomplish my dissertation. Although I am not a big fan of my glasses, I am dedicating this post to glasses as they make me feel quite smart right now. Let's pretend for a moment :) I actually bought them last year in Berlin, as I was looking for some kind of Nerd glasses but not too nerdy, do you know what I mean? Anyway, I really like glasses on other people, but when it comes to my face I am not sure if I am that type of person. Have a lovely evening! x

Streber, oder wat?! In den letzten Tagen hocke ich nur zu Hause rum, lerne für die Uni und versuche meine Abschlussarbeit voranzutreiben. Obwohl ich kein allzu großer Fan meiner Brille bin, widme ich genau dieser meinen heutigen Post, da sie mich irgendwie schlauer fühlen lassen. Quasi, mal so tun als ob :) Die Brille habe ich letztes Jahr in Berlin gekauft, schon ne Weile her also und damals habe ich nach so einer Nerd-Brille gesucht, die aber nicht zu nerdy ist, versteht ihr was ich meine? Jedenfalls mag ich Brillen bei anderen Menschen sehr aber wenn es um mein Gesicht geht, finde ich nicht, dass ich der optimale Brillen-Typ bin. Habt noch einen schönen Abend. x

Leopard for Breakfast

Don't worry animal-rights activists, I am talking about lovely leopard prints on scarves. Lately, I browsed through Primark again because as a student you do not have cash all the time and so I have to do some savings by economizing on fashion. However, I found a scarf (picture 4) for 4,00£ and I like the combination of pink and red in it. This morning I also remembered my other scarves with leopard prints in my closet and actually couldn't decide which one to wear (pictures 1-3: all scarves bought some time ago at H&M). Ok, I took the new one ;) So, I am still obsessed with leo prints. Or do you think this trend is over? Enjoy your weekend! x

Egal, ich habe einen Schal (Bild 4) für süße 4,00£ entdeckt und ich mochte die Pink-Rot Kombination. Heute morgen allerdings fielen mir auch noch die anderen Schals mit Leo Prints in meinem Schrank ein und ich konnte mich dann einfach nicht entscheiden, welche ich tragen soll (Bilder 1-3: Alle Schals irgendwann man bei H&M gekauft). Ok, ich habe mich dann doch für den neuen entschieden. Also ich bin immernoch Fan von Leo Prints. Wie seht ihr das, ist der Trend schon vorbei? Habt ein schönes Wochenende! x

My desire for ballet inspired styles is not ending, yet. When I saw this puffy skirt at Primark for only 10,00£, I instinctively had to buy it. I felt like combining the skirt with black accessories and a black long sleeve top. Thus, my outfit inspiration and theme for the shooting was born: Black Swan. Mein Verlangen nach Ballett-inspierten Looks hört einfach momentan nicht auf. Als ich diesen fluffigen Rock bei Primark, für günstige 10,00£ erblickte, musste ich ihn instinktiv einfach mitnehmen. I discovered this 'sweet' Moschino bag from 1996 at the V&A museum in London. I found the bag so gorgeous that I had to take a picture of it. So, ice cream or chocolate, anyone?! :)
