Sonne oder wat?!

 

Hi meine Lieben, man kann es kaum glauben ABER es schien doch heute tatsächlich die Sonne hier in Berlin und der Schnee fängt endlich an zu schmelzen!!! JUCHU. Da habe ich gleich mal meine fette Winterjacke gegen eine nicht ganz so dicke Winterjacke getauscht und bin raus. Ach war das schön. Und bei H&M konnte ich auch schon einen Blick auf 2 Kleider der Garden Collection werfen. Da kommen Frühlingsgefühle auf! Überzeugt haben mich leider jedoch beide nicht. Hatte mehr erwartet. Preislich lagen beide für 9,95€ echt weit unter dem, was ich erwartet hatte aber wie gezeugt umgehauen haben sie mich nicht. Im Gegensatz zu der Kette aus der H&M Trend-Abteilung für 19,95€, die ist ECHT toll aber gekauft habe ich sie nicht. Muss mal ne Nacht darüber schlafen ;) Hoffentlich scheint morgen auch die Sonne... *Daumen drück*

Hi friends, FINALLY there is sunshine here in Berlin and the snow starts melting!!! I took the chance and change my winter jacket into a not that thick one. NICE! At H&M I already found 2 dresses of the Garden Collection and tried them on. Feels like spring already! Both did not convince me but then the pricing was surprisingly low with 9,95€. I expected more than that but still I left them in store. But I found this beautiful necklace at H&M Trend for 19,95€. I love it but I didn't buy it either. Have to think about it ;) I hope the sun will shine tomorrow, too!!!!!

Berlinale 2010

Hi meine Lieben, zur Zeit ist ja wieder die Berlinale in Berlin. Die Stadt platzt quasi aus allen Filmnähten :) Eine Freundin von mir hatte eine Karte für die Shutter Island Party und wollte zuvor mit mir etwas trinken gehen, doch dann kam alles anders. Wir wollten in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Friedichstraße Ausschau nach einer Bar halten als wir von weiten den roten Teppich vor dem Friedrichstadtpalast entdeckten. Als wir dort standen und schauten wurden wir von einer Dame angsprochen, die noch zwei Karten für den Film Henri VI hatte und schwups waren wir drinnen. Einmal im Berlinale-Fieber fuhren wir dann zum Potsdamer Platz, dort stärkte sich meine Freundin mit einem Starbucks Kaffee und der Abend endete auf der Party, denn ich fungierte als ihre Begleitung. Ein Samstagabend mal ganz anders... :)

Hi friends, at the moment Berlin is the center of movie business because it is Berlinale. A friend of mine had a ticket for the Island Shutter Party and before she wanted to have a drink with me. But then everything changed. While we were looking for a nice bar near station Friedrichstraße we discovered the red carpet of the Friedrichstadtpalast. Standing there a woman came to us and gave us two tickets for the movie Henri IV and we went in. Now we were in Berlinale mood and went to the Potsdamer Platz afterwards. There my friend bought herself a coffee at Starbucks and the evening ended at the party where I was her company. A totally different Saturday night than I expected... :)

Der Taxifahrer war wohl leicht verwirrt, denn statt 2 Euro gab er meiner Freundin ein 5 Mark Stück. Wir haben das erst später bei Starbucks festgestellt aber es war schon komisch die alte Währung mal wieder zu sehen.

On behalf of Lee McQueen's family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand has been found dead at his home. After I saw AVATAR - I now want Spring and all the beautiful colours...

 

Hi meine Lieben, wow ich hab gestern AVATAR gesehen. Bin beeindruckt und finde die Farbenwelt echt gelungen. Gut von der Story ist es jetzt nicht so neues "Menschen erobern einen neuen Planeten" kommt jetzt in Science Fiction Filmen schon mal häufiger vor aber dennoch finde ich ich es erstaunlich wie sehr man in knapp 3 Stunden eine emotionale Bindung zu einer Welt und Menschen aufbaut, die eigentlich gar nicht real existieren.

Jetzt zurück in meine Welt:  ich bin total verliebt in mein Karo-Shirt, dass ich in Paris bei promod gekauft habe. Momentan trage ich zwar noch eine schwarze Cardigan darüber aber der Frühling kommt hoffentlich bald. Habt einen schönen Tag.

Hi friends, wow I saw AVATAR yesterday at the cinema and I am deeply impressed of all the beautiful colours. Although the story line is not that new - "human beings try to conquer a new planet" that happens quite often in science fiction genre. But I am impressed by the fact that I got emotionally connected to a world and people who are not real within 3 hours.

Now back to my small world: I am totally in love with my shirt which I bought in Paris at promod. At the moment I am wearing a black cardigan over it but spring will be coming soon - hopefully. Have a nice day.

Monday Blues / University style

 

Ach der Montag ist immer der Anfang einer langen Arbeitswoche und ich bin immer traurig, dass das Wochenende schon vorbei ist. Na ja... da sehnt man sich doch nach den alten guten Studi-Zeiten zurück, auch wenn die Klausuren manchmal nervig waren. Vorletztes Wochenende hat mir mein Freund seinen Uni-Pullover geliehen. Und da dieser so schön kuschelig groß war und ich das blau total mag, habe ich ihn gleich mal mitgenommen :) So und dies war mein heutiges Outfit und jetzt wird erstmal schön gechillt, Beine hoch und Faulenzen...

Feeling blue. Mondays are the beginning of a long working week and I am very sad that the weekend is over. In that moments I think back at my good old student times, even though the exams were sometimes anoying. The weekend before my boyfriend borrowed me his university pullover and because the pullover is so cozy and big I took it back home. I really like the blue :) And this was my todays outfit and now it's chilling time!!!

 Alles H&M - das ist auch mal ne Aufgabe ;)

Hi meine Lieben, bald ist ja schon wieder Valentinstag - bei dem Wetter wird dieser wohl eher kuschlig :) Meine Erkenntnis bzgl. des Valentinstages ist wohl diese: Ist man Single ist dieser, neben Weihnachten, einer der schlimmsten Tage im Jahr überhaupt! Überall Herzen, die Blumenläden fahren so richtig auf und jeder ist bedacht das krasseste Date am V-Tag zu haben. Ein Aufzeigen der Einsamkeit für alle Singles. PFUI! Ist man aber dann in einer Beziehung ist dieser Tag eigentlich gar nicht mehr so krass wie man glaubte. Klar man geht Essen oder unternimmt was anderes schönes, aber ganz ehrlich das machen wir auch so und brauchen dafür keinen Tag, der uns offiziell daran erinnert. Und das ist wohl die schönste Erkenntnis, die mir der Valentistag bringt und das ist doch aus was...

Hi friends, valentins day will be coming soon, but with this freezing weather it will be very cosy. My realization about valentins day is that: If you are single this day - besides christmas - is one of the worst days of the year. No matter where you look you see hearts and flowers and everybody wants to have THE BEST V-Day date ever. Lowliness for all singles! Ugh! But if you are then in a relationship you realize that this day is not that important as you thought. Of course you go out have some dinner or other activities, but honestly we do this normally, too. We do not need a day which reminds us to be lovely. And that is the most beautiful sign this day could show me...

Hi meine Lieben, jetzt ist noch kurz Zeit für ein Outfit-Post :) Dieses Kleid von H&M habe ich mir von meinem Geburtstags-H&M-Gutschein gekauft. Ich fand es total süß und ich finde es ist ein Mix aus Hippie, Gipsy und Folklore. Das Kleid gibt es auch in einer schwarzen Variante - zu sehen bei Moraki`s Blog :)

82. Oskar Verleihung - Nominierungen

Meine Lieben, es ist wieder soweit die Nominierungen für die Oskar-Verleihung stehen fest! Avatar gilt ganz klar als einer der Favoriten und ist in ziemlich vielen Kategorien nominiert. Habe selbst den Film noch nicht gesehen aber nächste Woche Dienstag gehen wir ins Kino und schauen ihn uns an. Bislang meinte jeder, den ich kenne, dass der Film super sei. Habt ihr ihn schon gesehen?

Sehr erfreut bin ich, dass "Coco before Chanel" für den Oskar in der Kategorie "Bestes Kostüm" nominiert ist. Ich fand den Film einfach atemberaubend und hatte ganz andere Erwartungen und wurde im Kino völlig überrascht. Na ja wir werden sehen.

Hi friends, the game is on again! Now we know the nominees for the 82nd Academy Awards. Avatar has lots of nominatings and is one of the favorites. I didn't see the movie, yet but next week on Tuesday that will change because we are going to the cinema. Everybody told me that it is one the greatest movies ever. Did you already watched Avatar?

I am really excited that "Coco before Chanel" is nominated for "Costume Design". In my opinion this movie is amazing and it totally surprised me when I was watching it at the cinema because it is totally different from what you expect. We will see.
