INFLUENCERS ist eine Kurz-Dokumentation, über das Thema, was es heißt ein Trendsetter zu sein und wie Kreativität uns heutzutage im Bereich Mode und Musik beeinflusst.

Die Regisseure Paul Rojanathara und Davis Johnson zeigen in ihrem Film das Leben der momentan angesagtesten Kreativköpfe New Yorks aus den Bereichen Werbung, Design, Mode und Entertainment und wie sie die Pop Kultur stark prägen.

Save the best: Try a vest!

Ob ihr es mir glaubt oder nicht, diese schwarze Weste von GAP habe ich schon seit 10 Jahren und sie ist mein ultimativer Klassiker für die Herbstzeit. Genau dann, wenn das Wetter weder warm noch kalt ist bzw. sich nicht entscheiden kann, ob es warm bleibt oder in einer Stunde lieber kalt ist. Mein persönlicher Tipp: Eine Weste und am besten noch mit Kaputze falls es regnet. Kleidung muss halt auch mal funktional sein ;)

If you believe it or not. I have this black vest from GAP now since 10 years and it is my ultimate classic item for the Autumn season. Exact for that time when the weather cannot decide if its warm or cold or if it stays warm or get cold within the next minute. So my personal advice: A vest and even better with a cape in case it rains. Clothes have to be functional, sometimes :)

Manchmal muss ein Mädchen tun, was ein Mädchen zu tun hat. In den Laden gehen und ein zauberhaftes Kleid kaufen. Noch besser wenn es reduziert ist. Sale sei Dank. Ich hatte dieses unglaubliches Bedürfnis mal wieder ein Kleid zu kaufen, dass man am Wochenende zum Ausgehen anziehen kann und das nicht für den Alltag geignet ist. Done!

Sometimes a girl has to do what a girl has to do. Go to the store and buy a fabulous dress. Even better when this dress is reduced in price. Thank Sale. I had this incredible feeling of buying a dress that I can wear  when going out on the weekend and not wearing it on everyday life. Done!

Jetzt wo die Tage kälter werden, muss das Köpfchen ja warm gehalten werden. Ich weiß, ich bin spät dran mit diesem Trend aber hey, besser spät als nie, wa?! ;)

We love Nerds - Don't we?!

In den Covent Garden Markthallen bin ich auf den Store David & Goliath aufmerksam geworden, vor allem durch diesen Nerdi-Hoodie. Ich finde es total cool und deshalb ist es mir einen Post wert. Die Marke David & Goliath steht generell für schräge Shirts und Statements, und dass man nicht immer alles so Ernst nehmen muss. In diesem Sinne habt ein schrääääääges Wochenende :)

At Covent Garden I discovered the store David & Goliath - mainly because of this Nerd-Hoodie in the window display. To my mind it is very cool and that is why I posted it for you. The label David & Goliath stands for crazy T-Shirts and statements and that you shouldn't take it too serious. So, have a nerdiiii weekend :)

Bli... Bla... Blue Dress

Blau ist irgendwie immernoch meine Lieblings-Farbe momentan und da konnte ich bei diesem Kleid für 9,00 £ bei Primark nicht widerstehen. Und welche Farbe mögt ihr gerade am liebsten?

Please mind the GAP

Jahrelang ist uns die Marke GAP mit dem blauen Quadrat bekannt und als Marke etabliert. Nun, in Zeiten der technologischen Entwicklung, wollte GAP sein Logo dem neuen Design anpassen und den Online-Shop aufmotzen. Doch schon am ersten Tag gab es Proteste gegen das neue Logo, das als auch "Crap" verschrien wurde. Dank des massiven Einsatzes von Bloggern und Facebook-Anhänger wurde das Logo nach nur einer Woche wieder in das alte, neue Logo verwandelt. Konsumenten an der Macht und ein Paradebeispiel für Markenbranding ;)

Ever since we associate with the fashion brand GAP the blue square with its white letters. But in times of new technologies and development GAP wanted to relaunch its design and website. On the first day there were already complaints about the new look and the logo was called crap. Thanks to the strong opinion of bloggers and Facebook users GAP changed its logo back to the old, new just only after one week. Consumers do have power and this is an excellent example of strategic brand marketing ;)

Autumn 2010 Must Have: Camel (Cape) Coat

Überall zu lesen und zu sehen. Camel Coats sind diesen Herbst wohl ein absolutes Must Have. Lange resistent geblieben aber immer mal wieder drauf geachtet, konnte ich diesem Trend nun doch nicht widerstehen und habe mir diesen Camel Coat mit Kaputze bei Primark für 25,00 £ gekauft. Was sind Eure Must Have's für den Herbst?

Everywhere you see and read about it. Camel coats are one the autumn seasons must haves. I could resist for a long time but I always had an eye on them. Finally I follow the trend and bought this camel coat with a cape at Primark for 25,00 £. What are your Must Have's for the season?
