LUCCICO - Keine Kompromisse!

Mir sind diese coolen Flyer des Schuhladens LUCCICO aufgefallen und ich habe sie gleich mal mitgenommen, um sie für Euch zu fotografieren. Die Liebe einer Frau zu ihren Schuhen ist halt unergründlich und geht über alles - vielleicht auch über Leichen?! Da ich selbst eine Schuhvernaterikerin bin, konnte ich mich schon etwas in den Anzeigen wiederfinden. Nur bis zum Äussersten würde ich natürlich nicht gehen. Versteht sich :)Preislich liegen die Schuhe bei Luccico so zwischen 50 und 150 Euro.

I found these two fliers of the shoe shop Luccico in Berlin and had to take them with me to show you. The left one says: "My husband had meant, I have enough pair of shoes." and the right one says: "My clothes did not fit to these shoes". A woman's love to shoes is deep. I myself am very addicted to shoes that is why I like these fliers very much. In terms of price you get a pair of shoes approximately between 50 and 150 Euro.

Mein H&M Summer Sale

Hi meine Lieben, dieses Jahr habe ich den Sale etwas ruhiger angehen lassen, aber so ganz kommt man nicht daran vorbei. Dieses süßes Top habe ich bei H&M für 5 Euro gekauft. Hatte es damals schon gesehen und fand es total toll. Dachte mir, ich kauf es mir später und plötzlich war es in keinem H&M mehr zu finden. Schwups zum Sale und da habe ich es doch in der Filiale am Hackeschen Markt gefunden - dort hingen ganz ganz viele und so habe ich beides: das Shirt und Geld gespart. :)

Hi friends, this season I am not that into sale shopping but there is always something that you fancy. I bought this cute top at H&M for 5 Euro. I have seen it before and wanted to buy it but could'nt find it at stores anymore. Now, at sale I found it in a H&M store at Hackescher Markt in Berlin. Lucky me: I got the shirt and saved money in the end :)

Perücken Parade

Langeweile?! Nicht mit uns :) Ich weiß nicht mehr wie aber plötzlich hatten wir gestern die Idee die alten Perücken aus dem Koffer zu holen, Sonnenbrillen aufzusetzen und "Ikognito" zu posen. Mut zur Häßlickeit und dabei ganz viel Spaß haben. Ja, auch so kann man seiner Abendgestaltung das i-Tüpfelchen aufsetzen :) Wie war Euer Wochenende?

Not with us :) I don't know exactly when and how we came up with the idea but suddenly we were in the mood to take the old wigs out of the box and put on sunglasses to strike a pose icongnito. Rock 'n' Soccer

Ach die WM ist schon was herrliches. Man ist plötzlich öfters unterwegs und trifft sich mit Freunden zum Fussi schauen, auch wenn mal nicht Deutschland spielt. Die Stimmung schwappt über und man genießt den Flair des Fußballs. Überall in Berlin findet man coole Cafés, Bars oder Open Air Public Viewing Orte, an denen man sich entspannt nieder lassen kann. Eigentlich viel zu viel Auswahl, um alle während der WM zu testen. Egal, weiter gehts und Freitag spielt auch wieder Deutschland, diesmal gegen Serbien um 13:30 Uhr. I love soccer!

The World Cup is really a good thing. You go out more often and meet with friends to watch a game, even if Germany is not playing. The mood is awesome you can feel the heat of soccer everywhere. In Berlin you can find lots of cafés, bars or open air public viewing places to enjoy the games. Actually there are too many to test them all during the World Cup. Anyways, let's go and on Friday Germany has its next game against Serbia at 13:30. I love soccer!

Maritime flair in the city

Hi meine Lieben, wir haben die Sonnenstrahlen mal genutzt und sind durch Berlin getourt. Dabei haben wir in Mitte in der Linienstraße ein ganz süßes Café gefunden, dass einen sofort in Urlaubsstimmung verfallen lässt. Und passend zum maritimen Look des Cafés waren Mary and me in blau/weiß angezogen :) Wirklich zufällig! :) Habt einen schönen Sonntag ihr Süßen...

Hi friends, these days we enjoyed the sun and walked around in Berlin. We discovered a really cute little café at Linienstraße in the district Mitte. Hanging out there you feel like in holidays and Mary and me fit to the maritime look of the café as we were dressed in blue and white. :) Have a great Sunday sweethearts...

Neulich in der H&M Umleidekabine: Ja, ich gestehe ich konnte nicht widerstehen und musste mal wieder ein paar Sachen bei H&M anprobieren. Waren auch echt ein paar süße Sachen dabei. Das graue Top ist eigentlich länger, das seht ihr aber auf dem nächsten Bild. Allerdings ist es auch ganz schön durchsichtig, so dass man vielleicht etwas drunter ziehen sollte. Obwohl ich mir ja eine Eulenkette in New York gekauft habe, lachte mich diese ganz freudig an und dann nahm ich sie mal mit. Das weitgeschnittene rosa Top war ziemlich unspektakulär, dafür sorgte dann aber das schwarze Spitzenkleid. Sexy, sexy sexy :)

Lately at the H&M changing room: Yes, I confess, I couldn´t resist and tried on some clothes at the H&M store. They were soooo lovely. Actually the grey top is a little bit longer, but you`ll see that at the next picture. Indeed, it is quite transparent so one should dress something underneath. Although I bought an owl necklace in New York, that one smiled at me so joyfully that it had to come with me. The pink top is not that spectacular but therefore the black dress is all the more. Sexy, sexy, sexy :)

Es geht wieder los! WM 2010 in South Africa

Ladies and Gentlemen, der Countdown läuft und bald hört man das Gegröle aus allen Ecken wieder, "Deutschlaaaand, Deutschlaaaaaaaand". Ich selbst, bin jetzt nicht der größte Fußball-Fan aber wenn es um die EM oder WM geht, fieber ich für unsere Jungs schon mit. Fanmeile, Public Viewing oder kleine Fußball-Partys mit Freunden, die Stimmung rockt und es macht einfach Spaß - solange wir gewinnen :). Und was wäre da nicht passender, als das perfekte WM-Fußball-Outfit?! Genau, wir sind halt immernoch Frauen und wer sagt denn, wir können nicht Abseits erklären und trotzdem dabei fabelhaft aussehen?! Gestern, bekam ich ein Paket mit dem neuem Trikot geliefert, welches mein Freund (GRÖßTER FUßBALL FAN EVER) mir als Überraschung bestellt hatte. Witzigerweise bin ich zuvor bei New Yorker durch Zufall auf die World Cup Edition aufmerksam geworden. Ein Fußball-Tuch und 3 Pins landeten dabei in meiner Tasche. Wir wollen es ja nicht übertreiben, gell?! :)

Ladies and Gentlemen, the countdown for the World Cup is already going on and soon you'll hear the fans screaming and singing for their favorite teams. I myself am not the biggest fan of soccer but when it comes to  both the European and World Cup, I cross my fingers for our team. Fan Fest, Public Viewing or private soccer parties with friends, it's just soooo much fun and the atmosphere rocks - as long as we are winning :).  But let's get serious now: We are women and we need the perfect soccer-matching-outfit, don't we? Right, who says women cannot explain "Offside" and look fabulous at the same time? Yesterday a package with the new jersey arrived which my boyfriend (BIGGEST SOCCER FAN EVER) ordered for me as a surprise. Before that I discovered the World Cup Edition at New Yorker and bought a scarf and three pins. Now I am ready for the World Cup.

HATSCHI... aber stilvoll

Hi meine Lieben, der Monat Juni heißt für mich auch immer Allergie-Zeit. Neben angeschwollenen Augen, läuft da auch immer gleich die Nase. Ziemlich blöd und nervig mit den Gräsern aber bald ists zum Glück wieder vorbei. 

Beim Taschentuch-Kauf bin ich auf diese hübschen Exemplare von Zewa Softies gestoßen: Die Design-Special-Edition im Multi-Pack.

Cool, also gleich zugegriffen, wenn schon Schnupfen dann mit Stil :)

Hi friends, unfortunately the month June means allergy alert to me. Next to swollen eyes, I have to sneeze all the time. That's quite annoying but my grasses allergy will be gone by end of the month. 

As I was at the drugstore to buy new hankies I found these cute package of Zewa Softies: It is called Design-Special-Edition.

So I bought them, if sneezing then with style :)

Carrie & Co.

ENDLICH! Gestern war es endlich soweit! Wir haben uns Sex and the City 2 im Kino angeschaut. Ach, war das herrlich Carrie & Co. endlich wieder auf der Leinwand zu sehen. Auch wenn der Film keine wirkliche Handlungsentwicklung hatte, war ich total verzaubert und wieder total im SATC-Fieber. Wir haben uns den Film im Original angesehen, wobei ich auch auf die deutsche Übersetzung gespannt bin, denn ich frage mich, wie sich der ein oder andere Witz übersetzen lässt. Wie fandet ihr den Film?

Passend zum Film ist mir die neue Lucky Strike Werbung aufgefallen, die ich gleich mal knipsen musste :) Und dann natürlich noch mein gestriges Outfit... Nach dem Film gings dann noch Richtung Mitte zum Cocktails-Schlürfen.

FINALLY! Yesterday, we went to the cinema and watched Sex and City 2. It was so great to see Carrie and her lovely friends again. Even if the story of the movie was not that deep, I was fascinated by it and I was back in the SATC fever. We saw the movie in its original version, so I am very keen on the German translation because I am wondering how they translated some jokes. What do you think about SATC 2?

Apropos SATC the new advertisment of Lucky Strikes fits the theme, that is why I took a picture of it, when I saw it. And of course I took a pic of my outfit... After the movie we had some cocktails downtown.

Back to life // Let the sunshine in your heart

Juchu!!! Heute zeigte sich endlich mal der Gastgeber des Monats Juni - die Sonne - und zog gleich alle in ihren Bann. Sehnlichst haben wir gewartet und endlich ist es soweit: Der Sommer ist da (hoffentlich). Wie alle anderen kam ich aus meinem Loch gekrochen und nach einem kurzen Café-Besuch in der Kreuzberger Bergmannstraße ging es weiter zum ehemaligen Flughafen Tempelhof. Dieser wurde geschlossen und vor 3 Wochen nun der Öffentlichkeit in Form eines riesengroßen Park zugänglich gemacht. Ne nette Sache jedenfalls :)

Yeah!!! Today the sun was shining and finally all people came out of their homes to chill outside. After a coffee-break in a café at the Bergmannstreet in the district Kreuzberg we went to the airport Tempelhof which is closed for planes but opend 3 weeks ago for the public. It is park now :)

MOOD Designer Fabrics // M&J Trimming // New York // Fashion District

Hi meine Lieben, ein absolutes Muss für jeden Modefan ist der Designer Fabric Store Moods in der 37th Street (zwischen 7th und 8th Avenue). Auch bekannt aus Project Runway oder The City. Stoffe über Stoffe in allen möglichen Farben, Materialien oder Mustern. Einfach WOW! Auch die Accessoires-Abteilung hatte es in sich. Total viele schöne Applikationen, Nieten und Knöpfe. Bei den Nieten konnte ich  nicht widerstehen und habe gleich zugegriffen. Fehlt nur das passende DIY-Projekt in naher Zukunft. Aber da lässt sich bestimmt was finden. Und eine Moods Tasche durfte dann natürlich auch nicht fehlen.

Hi friends, if you are into fashion, you should definitely visit the Designer Fabric Store Moods at 37th Street (between 7th and 8th Avenue). Maybe you know the store from the TV shows Project Runway as well as The City. Hundreds of fabrics in different colours, materials and designs. Just WOW! Additionally the section of accessories was incredible, too. I saw many beautiful buttons, studs and appliques. I found nice studs which I really had to buy. Now I just need a DIY project but I guess I will find one in the near future. And of course I bought a Moods-bag.

Und zwei Straßen weiter findet ihr in der 6th Avenue (auch Avenue of the America genannt) zwischen W37th Street und W38th Street M&J Trimming ein wahrer Traum für alle DIY-Fans! So unfassbar viele Applikationen zum Bügeln oder Nähen habe ich noch nie gesehen und ich würde am liebsten den gesamten Laden nach Berlin importieren. Der Wahnsinn. Und auch preislich absolut fair. Ab 1$ geht es schon los.

If you walk two streets further, you will find an awesome store called M&J Trimming at 6th Avenue (also named Avenue of the Americas) between W37th and W38th street. A dream comes true for all DIY fans! I have never seen so many appliques, buttons or sequins before. I would love to import that store to Germany! Amazing. Even the prices are absolutly fair. Prices start from $ 1.
