ROYAL BLUE ON A ROYAL DAY

Yesterday, I tried to adapt to the local British fashion chic in regards to hats and other head accessories. We watched the lovely wedding at home and went afterwards to St. James Park & Buckingham Palace to catch the royal atmosphere. Wow, so many people attended the party, it was so great. Then we walked the whole way from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey. Really nice. I like that the royal wedding wasn't that stiff but very modern. Her dress was just amazing!!! Enjoy your weekend!

Gestern, habe ich mich, passend zum Anlass, dem britischen Chic angepasst, zumindestens, was Hüte und andere Kopfbedeckungen angeht. Wir haben uns die Hochzeit ganz in Ruhe zu Hause angesehen und sind im Anschluß zum St. James Park und Buckingham Palace gefahren, um etwas königliche Atmosphäre zu schnuppern. Wow, so viele Menschen waren da, um zu feiern, echt beeindruckend und toll. Danach sind wir den ganzen Weg vom Buckingham Palace zur Westminster Abbey gelaufen. Herrlich. Ich fand die Hochzeit echt schön, nicht ganz so steiff dafür aber modern. Und ihr Kleid war total atemberaubend!!! Habt noch ein schönes Wochenende!

YOU'RE NOT GOING ON A CATWALK...

Hahaha... you cannot imagine how often I hear this sentence when my boyfriend and me want to go for  a walk or just to the supermarket. But he is right, there is nothing better than getting in some cosy clothes and chill outside without any "fashionable" pressure. Thanks to my boy this moment was caught on tape, so I could do two screenshots :)

Hahaha... ihr könnt Euch nicht vorstellen wie oft ich diesen Satz höre, wenn es darum geht, dass mein Freund und ich kurz rauswollen zum Spazieren oder nur zum Supermarkt. Aber er hat Recht, es gibt doch nichts schöneres als schnell in die Gammelklamotten zu schlüpfen und etwas raus zu gehen ohne den "modischen" Druck zu verspühren. Dank meines Liebsten wurde dieser Moment mit der Kamera verewigt :)

Do you know what time it is? No. Do you what date is today? No. Sometimes it is just important to relax and enjoy life (and the sun). Having my favorite drink, Chaitea latte, I watched people passing by and sat at a random place in London. Life can be simple sometimes...

Weißt du wie spät es ist? Nein. Weißt du welches Datum heute ist? Nein. Manchmal ist es einfach nur wichtig, zu entspannen und das Leben zu genießen (und die Sonne natürlich). Mit meinem Lieblings-Getränk, Chaitea Latte, saß ich einfach irgendwo in London und habe mir die Leute so reingezogen. Das Leben kann manchmal so einfach sein...

First of all, I hope you all enjoyed your easter weekend! We did hang around a lot outside as the weather in London is really awesome at the moment. So yesterday, I took the chance to wear my new puffy ballerina shoes which I did not fancy in the beginning when I saw them in store BUT I couldn't stop looking at them. So in the end I bought them and love them now. Enjoy your day! x

Bevor es losgeht, hoffe ich, dass ihr ein schönes Oster-Wochenende hattet! Wir hingen sehr viel draussen rum da das Wetter hier in London momentan echt der Wahnsinn ist. So konnte ich auch gestern die Chance nutzen, meine neuen Ballerinas zu tragen, welche ich am Anfang gar nicht so toll fand als ich sie im Laden sah ABER irgendwie konnte ich nicht meine Augen von ihnen lassen. Deshalb wurden sie am Ende doch gekauft und ich liebe sie jetzt total. Habt einen schöööönen Tag! x

INTO THE BLUE

Lately, I saw really nice stuff in blue. And as blue is one of my favorite colours, I decided to post something related to blue. I am really in love with the blue shoes by Zara. I should give them a trial ;)

Immer wieder sehe ich echt schöne Sachen in der Farbe blau. Und da diese eine meiner Lieblings-Farben ist, wollte ich mal einen Post dazu machen. Ich habe mich ja schon etwas in die blauen Riemchen-Schuhe mit Keilabsatz verliebt. Ich sollte sie mal anprobieren ;)

I LOVE CUPCAKES @ COVENT GARDEN

One of London's best places to hang around on a nice day is definitely Covent Garden. There you'll find lots of food places, shops and street artists. My favorite place to be is Ella's bakehouse - mmmhhh yummy cupcakes and a small but beautiful store. So you should check this place out! x

Einer der schönsten Plätze in London um einfach mal abzuschalten und rumzuhängen ist auf jeden Fall Covent Garden. Dort findet ihr nicht nur jede Menge Essens-Stände und Shops sondern auch Straßenkünstler. Mein Lieblings-Café ist Ella's Bakehouse, dort gibst es total leckere Cupcakes. Also schaut dort mal vorbei, wenn ihr in London seid und Cupcakes mögt. x
