Bye Bye Berlin

London! My dear readers, sorry for my absence of blogging but I caught the flu and felt sick all week long. And as that wouldn't have been enough I had to fly back to London on Thursday. Not the best idea when your nose is blocked and you feel like shit. Anyhow, I survived the two hours flight and I am back in London after 3 weeks in Berlin. I wish you a lovely weekend and I'll keep you posted. x

London! Meine lieben Leser, entschuldigt bitte meine Blogabwesenheit aber ich lag die ganze Woche mit einer fetten Erkältung im Bett. Und als wäre das nicht schon Strafe genug, musste ich am Donnerstag auch noch ins Flugzeug steigen, um zurück nach London zu düsen. Nicht gerade die beste Idee wenn die liebe Nase dicht ist und man sich generell scheiße fühlt. Nun ja, ich habe den zweistündigen Flug ja überlebt und bin nun nach meinem 3-wöchigen Aufenthalt zurück in der britischen Hauptstadt. Habt ein schönes Wochenende. x

Outfit: Promod Party

French Evening. Last night I went to the Promod store event at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. As Promod is a French fashion company they took the theme 'France' for last night's event. French music, French food - mmmhh I love crepe - French wine and sparkling wine. In summary it was a lovely evening. Merci.

Französischer Abend. Gestern Abend lud Promod zum Kundenevent in der Berliner Filiale am Potsdamer Platz. Da die Wurzeln des Modeunternehmens französisch sind, wurde auch gleich 'Frankreich' als Eventthema aufgegriffen. Französischer Flair kam auf durch französische Musik, französisches Essen - unter anderem lecker Crepes - Wein und Sekt. Rundum ein schöner Abend. Merci.

I LOVE CUPCAKES @ COVENT GARDEN

One of London's best places to hang around on a nice day is definitely Covent Garden. There you'll find lots of food places, shops and street artists. My favorite place to be is Ella's bakehouse - mmmhhh yummy cupcakes and a small but beautiful store. So you should check this place out! x

Einer der schönsten Plätze in London um einfach mal abzuschalten und rumzuhängen ist auf jeden Fall Covent Garden. Dort findet ihr nicht nur jede Menge Essens-Stände und Shops sondern auch Straßenkünstler. Mein Lieblings-Café ist Ella's Bakehouse, dort gibst es total leckere Cupcakes. Also schaut dort mal vorbei, wenn ihr in London seid und Cupcakes mögt. x

Berlin shopping tips for tourists

Hi fashion friends :) As Fashionista ask me at my last post to give her some Berlin shopping tips for her visit, I thought that this is a great post for you all to share the information. So if you ever plan to visit Berlin there are some nice places to shop besides all the sightsighting. [Click here for official sightseeing info]

Let's go shopping

If you want to shop from A like American Apparel to Z like Zara you should definitely go to Kurfürstendamm starting at subway station Wittenbergplatz, there you'll find all High Street Fashion Stores and the famous KaDeWe. In the End of the street prices are getting up and you can buy luxury goods from Gucci, LV etc. 

If you prefer Vintage Shopping try Kreuzberg! There are my 3 favorite Second Hand stores called Bonnie & Kleid (Gneisenaustraße 9), Checkpoint (Mehringdamm 41) and Colours (Bergmannstraße 102 - Happy Hour every Tuesday between 11.00 and 15.00 o'clock 30% discount). You get there by subway, just get out at Mehringdamm and walk 5 minutes.

If you love chic and expensive shopping go to Friedrichstraße and shop for example at the Galerie Lafayette, Hugo Boss or Escada. But there are two H&M's as well ;) Subway station: Französische Straße

Individual clothes and indepent designers can be found in Mitte as well as Prenzlauer Berg. In Mitte walk around Hackescher Markt and discover small designer shops in the streets like Oranienburger Straße. In Mitte you also find the Adidas Original Flagship Store. I love it! It is at Münzstraße 15 right under the trade show office Bread & Butter :) 

For shopping in Prenzlauer Berg I suggest to take the subway till Eberswalder Straße. There you find both small independent labels (Name of the street: Kastanienallee!!!) and Second Hand stores. Just walk around and take a break at all the cool bars and cafes. 

If you stay over the weekend and have time on Sunday, you must definitely visit the flee market at Mauerpark, subway station Eberswalder Straße. It is so much fun and you'll find really nice stuff. Take some time because it is huge!

I woke up in London and went to bed in Berlin

Hello... gestern abend bin ich in Berlin-Schönefeld gelandet und bin nun wieder Zuhause. Das ist irgendwie doof, denn London war echt toll und ich habe die Stadt sehr genossen. Es ist schon faszinierend welche Menschenmassen sich dort von A nach B bewegen. Richtiger Großstadtflair eben, und eigentlich gar nicht mit Berlin zu vergleichen. Nun ja, jede Stadt hat halt ihren eigenen Charme und das mag ich so am Reisen. Shopping-Spots wurden selbstverständlich auch erkundigt... hehe... und auf meiner Liste standen Topshop und Primark ganz oben. Ebenfalls cool fand ich New Look und Oasis und für mehr hat dann die Zeit auch leider nicht gereicht. Ein Grund mehr nochmal hinzufahren *zwinker*. Mein ershopptes Warengut erfolgt im nächsten Post :)

Hello... yesterday I landed in Berlin and I am back home now. I do not really like this because I enjoyed my trip to London very much and the city is so amazing. It is fascinating how many people are on the streets and move from A to B. It's the flair of a big city and not comparable with Berlin at all. Every city has its own charme and that is why I love travelling so much. Of course I explored some shopping spots... hehe... and Topshop and Primark were on top of my list. Additionally I liked New Look and Oasis and for more shopping I had not enough time. One more reason to go back to London. I'll show you my purchases at the next post :)

Yeah... 100. Post ! ! !

Happy 100th post Collage

Meine Lieben, was soll ich sagen?! Der 100. Post!!! Zeit mal kurz zurück zu schauen: Seit Oktober 2009 bin ich nun schon dabei und habe das ein oder andere Blogger-Tief und -Hoch erlebt. Jetzt kann ich sagen, ich bin hinein gewachsen und auch mein Stil bzgl. Bilder und Texte hat sich weiterentwickelt. Label of Addiction ist für mich die Möglichkeit, mich kreativ zu betätigen und meine Mode-Leidenschaft mit Euch und anderen Bloggern zu teilen, und der Header hat ja in der Zeit auch ein paar mal gewechselt :) Ich danke Euch fürs Verfolgen und Lesen meines Blogs!!! Ach wie schön, ich bin happy, auf die nächsten 100! :) 

Und jetzt wirds mal bürokratisch. Unten eine kleine Statistik der letzten 100 Posts... soviel Zeit muss sein...

Hi friends, what shall I say?! It is the 100th post!!! So I take my time to look back: Since October 2009 I am blogging and went through some up and downs. Now I can definitely say that I am satisfied with my blog and my style of taking pictures and writing has improved as well. In Label of Addiction I see the possibility to be creative and share my passion for fashion with you and other bloggers - and the header changed several times, too :) Thanx for following and reading my blog!!! I am so happy, can't wait for the next 100 posts :)

La vie en rose - My Paris inspirations

Hi meine Lieben, ja ich bin wieder zurück im Lande! Die Tage in Paris waren wie immer TOLL! Paris ist einfach eine sooooo zauberhafte Stadt, die mich jedes mal inspiriert und träumen lässt. Ganz angetan von den vielen schönen Pariser Plätzen lasse ich einfach mal die Bilder für sich sprechen: Eine Anreihung an Insprirationen. Ein ausführlicher Post zu meinen Shopping-Eroberungen und meinem Besuch auf dem Antiquitäten-Markt folgen die Tage dann noch... nur nix überstürzen :) Genießt den Tag

Jaaaaaaaa, es geht wieder nach  Paris. Eigentlich sollte ich schon längst schlafen (mein Flieger geht um 7 Uhr früh) aber ich ein kurzer Post muss noch sein. Ich konnte die letzten Tage leider nicht posten, da ich TOTAL im Stress war aber nun ist alles gut, der Koffer ist auch schon gepackt und ab gehts :) Am Mittwoch bin ich wieder back in Berlin. Bis dahin haltet die Ohren steif, drückt Deutschland am Samstag beim Fussi die Daumen und genießt die Sonne!

Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaah, I am going back to Paris again. Actually I should  be already in my bed sleeping because I have to be at the airport at 6 am but I wanted to give you an update since I was not blogging these days. I was totally stressed out but now everything is done and I am looking forward to the weekend in Paris. I will be back on Wednesday and then I provide you with my impressions. Perücken Parade

Langeweile?! Nicht mit uns :) Ich weiß nicht mehr wie aber plötzlich hatten wir gestern die Idee die alten Perücken aus dem Koffer zu holen, Sonnenbrillen aufzusetzen und "Ikognito" zu posen. Mut zur Häßlickeit und dabei ganz viel Spaß haben. Ja, auch so kann man seiner Abendgestaltung das i-Tüpfelchen aufsetzen :) Wie war Euer Wochenende?

You are bored?! Not with us :) I don't know exactly when and how we came up with the idea but suddenly we were in the mood to take the old wigs out of the box and put on sunglasses to strike a pose icongnito. Show courage to be ugly while having lots of fun. It is just one way to highlight your evening :) What have you done at the weekend?
